We are seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Installer (06 Licensed) to support Research & Development data center environments in Redmond and Totem Lake. This is a true hands-on infrastructure installation role focused on rack and cabinet builds, fiber and copper cabling, and physical deployment of data center infrastructure within pre-production lab environments. This role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in low-voltage installation, structured cabling, telecommunications, or field service environments. You will work in advanced server environments where new technologies are built, tested, and validated before broader deployment. The ideal candidate brings strong field experience, maintains high safety standards, communicates clearly, and takes pride in well-executed, physically demanding infrastructure work.

Requirements

  • Valid Washington State Electrical Limited Energy 06 License (Required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (trade coursework preferred)
  • 5–7 years of hands-on field experience in infrastructure, telecommunications, or installation environments
  • Minimum 3 years installing and maintaining network or telecommunications equipment
  • Hands-on experience with rack-and-stack, cabling, or physical infrastructure installation
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting fiber optic systems
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Clear communication skills and ability to provide timely updates
  • Familiarity with OSHA and safety standards
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Redmond and Totem Lake

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in structured cabling, low-voltage installation, or field installation environments strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install, build, and secure network/server racks and cabinets
  • Pull, route, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling
  • Install and support low-voltage and limited energy systems
  • Perform installation and break/fix troubleshooting on network and server infrastructure
  • Conduct inspections on HVAC, low voltage, and air systems as required
  • Receive, move, and position equipment within the facility
  • Maintain inventory of fiber, copper, hardware, and tools
  • Document work within ticketing systems (e.g., ADO or equivalent)
  • Monitor and respond to safety and security issues
  • Operate or learn to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts
  • Support lab consolidation and infrastructure deployment projects
  • Assist in testing infrastructure prior to enterprise-scale deployment
  • Read and interpret installation diagrams, rack elevations, and cabling layouts
