About The Position
As part of AWS's Data Center Engineering Operations team, you will work with front-line responders to support the operations of some of the world’s largest data centers. The Engineering Operations Technicians (EOTs) play a crucial role in maintaining and operating critical infrastructure systems, ensuring they are prepared for any situation. You will collaborate with teams to test and implement new technologies and work practices, contributing to AWS's reputation as a leader in the industry. The role involves hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, reporting to a site’s Data Center Facility Manager.
