About The Position
Piper Companies is searching for a Data Center Engineer - TS/SCI FSP to work for a leader in the technology space and reside in Annapolis Junction, MD. The Data Center Engineer will have a strong foundation in Linux, networking, and virtualization technologies to support mission-critical infrastructure.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to hold an active TS/SCI with FSP clearance.
- Strong experience with Linux system administration.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and storage systems.
Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems in enterprise and mission environments.
- Support and maintain virtualization platforms, networking configurations, and storage solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
