Under supervision and direction of the Data Center Operations Manager and/or lead engineers, the Data Center Engineer will be responsible for the rack/ cable servers, network, and storage gear, and perform remedial maintenance in a critical Data Center environment. Applicant must have the ability to work with customers to solve specific hardware, operating systems, cabling, and network issues within the various Data Center environments. Candidates must have proven experience in installation and maintenance of Data Center systems as well as troubleshooting experience. Successful candidate's background must include Ethernet (IEEE Standard 802.3) Local Area Networks (LAN), Enterprise Network topology, and fiber optic systems. Knowledge of IP sub-netting and basic networking is also required.
