About The Position
The position involves project planning and control, where the candidate will develop and maintain project scope, schedules, and milestones while collaborating with site project management teams throughout the project lifecycle. The role also includes reviewing ongoing projects for efficiencies and documenting data points to assist with field coordination. The candidate will support the development of project management best practices and coordinate SOPs/SIPs with vendors. Additionally, the role requires assisting the project controls team with forecasting and budgeting efforts, ensuring clear communication of project status with all stakeholders. The candidate will establish milestones for equipment purchase, manage vendor field activities, and ensure compliance with DEC quality standards. Quality assurance is a key aspect, as the candidate will perform inspections to ensure vendor work meets quality standards and lead product evaluation, design, and installation methods in the field. Cross-functional coordination with construction and logistics partners is essential to ensure smooth material flow and communicate progress and risks to key stakeholders. The candidate must ensure adherence to safety obligations and lead a 'safety first' culture. The position requires a minimum of 50% travel.
