We are seeking entry‑level Cable Technicians to support large‑scale structured cabling projects inside a major data center environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction, telecom, or general hands‑on experience who want to break into the telecommunications and data center industry. Technicians will work closely with senior team members to learn cabling on a wide scale, including fiber, copper, cable pathways, and rack builds. What You’ll Do • Install cable trays, pathways, and supporting infrastructure • Pull Cat5/Cat6 cable and fiber throughout the data center • Drop cable using fish tape and route through designated pathways • Perform pre‑termination steps such as dressing, forming, organizing, and labeling cables • Support cable using trays, J‑hooks, D‑rings, bridal rings, and trapeze • Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cabling • Perform fire‑stopping procedures and install sleeves for penetrations • Assist with terminations and low‑voltage device installation • Build and install server racks • Follow blueprints and construction drawings • Complete all required documentation accurately and on time • Adhere to all safety and quality standards on an active construction site • Perform additional duties as assigned by the project team What You Bring • Experience in telecom, construction, electrical, or similar hands‑on environments • Familiarity with hand tools used for cabling and construction • Ability to follow prints, directions, and structured installation processes • Willingness to learn fiber and copper terminations • Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced construction setting • Comfort working at heights and on ladders Nice to Have • Any structured cabling experience • Exposure to punch‑downs or terminations • Experience working in large, active construction sites Why Apply? • Great opportunity to enter the telecommunications and data center industry with little to no prior cabling experience • Long‑term career potential, including pathways to become a Data Center Technician • Work inside a massive data center environment, gaining hands‑on exposure to fiber, copper, racks, pathways, and infrastructure buildout • Be part of a team building large‑scale infrastructure for major enterprise clients • Learn a high‑demand technical trade with strong future earning potential • Consistent work with opportunities for overtime based on project needs
