We're hiring: Assistant Critical Facilities Manager to join Sabey Data Centers in Ashburn, VA. You'll play a key role in keeping multi-tenant data center operations running safely, efficiently, and without interruption. This position is based on-site in Ashburn, VA.   • Lead and develop a team supporting 24/7 critical data center operations
  • Oversee maintenance, reliability, and uptime of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Partner closely with tenants and internal teams to support evolving business needs
  • Drive operational excellence while fostering a strong safety and compliance culture
  • Ensure maximum uptime for all data center services
  • Manage all aspects of data center facilities, including power distribution systems, HVAC, and physical security measures
  • Develop, document, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine operations, emergency response, and disaster recovery
  • Supervise and guide the operations team, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance reviews
  • Maintain an incident response plan for data center emergencies
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers, service providers, and contractors
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Regularly analyze data center metrics such as power usage, cooling efficiency, and server utilization
  • Assist in the development and management of the data center's budget
  • Ensure the data center adheres to industry compliance standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, without compromising quality of work
  • Advanced knowledge of the English language - excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of critical environment facility systems (electrical, mechanical, controls, etc.)
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and vendors
  • Detail oriented with the ability to maintain a strong focus on attention to detail
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and growing within the organization
  • The anticipated yearly salary range for this position is: $105,262 - $163,156 annually based on experience
  • Yearly bonus: This position qualifies for a deferred annual bonus
