Virginia Tax is seeking a Data Capture Operator to support the Tax Processing Operations section. You would become part of a dedicated team that captures data within the Agency's tax return processing and payment systems. As a Data Capture Operator, you will help ensure tax returns and payments are processed within the agency deadlines to ensure we are meeting the taxpayer's needs and expectations. Tax Processing is responsible for the processing of over 14 million tax returns and 8 million payments. Our department ensures refunds are issued timely and critical Government operations, such as education, public safety, and programs for those in need, receive the necessary funding. The position requires a Data Capture Operator to key from images in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment across multiple systems maintaining rigorous throughput requirements. This is a full time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 7:00a.m. - 3:30p.m. EST. The anticipated hiring salary is commensurate with experience up to $38,919. This position is an office position and requires 5 days in the office. It is not eligible for telework. This position is located at our Westmoreland Street location in Richmond, VA.
