About The Position

The Data & Business Intelligence Analyst supports the company's strategic data and business intelligence initiatives under the direction of the CTO and IT leadership. This role focuses on transforming operational data into meaningful insights that support company leadership, operational efficiency, and enterprise reporting. A key responsibility of this role will be supporting the alignment and integration of data practices between Regional One and Mach 2 following the recent acquisition. The analyst will help evaluate and document how data is entered, structured, and used within the Quantum Control ERP system at Mach 2, ensuring that it aligns with Regional One's existing data models, reporting standards, and operational processes. This role serves as a technical liaison between business operations and IT, helping translate operational workflows and reporting needs into structured data solutions that support enterprise-level analytics. Projects and reporting initiatives are prioritized through IT leadership to ensure alignment with the company's overall data strategy. This position will divide time between Regional One and Mach 2 operations. In the early stages of the role, a majority of time will be spent at Mach 2 to support data mapping, documentation, and system alignment efforts. Over time, the position will transition to supporting both organizations as part of a shared data and reporting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise data and business intelligence initiatives led by the CTO and IT leadership.
  • Assist in building and maintaining reporting frameworks that support leadership decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of centralized reporting and analytics capabilities across the organization.
  • Analyze how data is entered, stored, and used within the Quantum Control ERP system at Mach 2.
  • Map Mach 2 data structures and workflows against Regional One's existing ERP data usage and reporting models.
  • Identify differences in business processes, data definitions, and reporting logic that impact reporting and analytics.
  • Assist in aligning data practices between both organizations to support shared reporting and operational efficiencies.
  • Document ERP workflows, reporting logic, and data relationships to support future system training and consistency.
  • Analyze operational and financial datasets to identify trends, patterns, and performance insights.
  • Develop and maintain datasets and data models used for reporting and analytics.
  • Validate data accuracy and ensure the reliability of reporting outputs.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Improve existing reports and dashboards to increase usability, performance, and consistency.
  • Ensure reporting structures are scalable and aligned with company data standards.
  • Work with operational teams to understand business workflows and reporting requirements.
  • Translate operational needs into structured data solutions and reporting designs.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to evaluate and prioritize requests within the broader data strategy.
  • Document data sources, definitions, reporting logic, and metric calculations.
  • Support the development of consistent standards for data usage, reporting, and analytics.
  • Promote accurate and reliable use of company data across the organization.
