About The Position

The Data Business Analyst position at Leidos Corporate Finance is a pivotal role within the Enterprise Systems Transformation (EST) team, focusing on enhancing data analysis and reporting capabilities. The role involves leading finance transformational projects, developing dashboards, and supporting strategic initiatives that leverage advanced analytics and automation to improve decision-making processes across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance (or related field) with 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting disciplines and analytics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform, and SQL development for data transformation and visualization.
• Strong reporting and query writing experience with BI ad-hoc query writing tools.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to add value to the organization.
• Ability to work with all levels of management with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Creative problem-solving skills to improve processes and reduce manual effort.
• Experience with project life cycles and leading teams through those cycles.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
• US citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Data Analytics (MDA) in lieu of experience.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint Ledger system or similar in a Government Contracting setting.

Responsibilities

• Work and lead finance transformational projects related to advanced analytics and dashboards.
• Manage analytics/dashboard approved projects from start to finish, including gathering requirements and production implementation.
• Develop dashboards and automate manual data gathering using Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform, and Oracle Analytics.
• Support enhancements and address user questions regarding existing Power BI apps and OAC reports.
• Provide support to Strategic Enterprise Systems Transformation Projects by identifying improvement areas for automation.
• Assist with Costpoint improvement initiatives, including acquisition migrations and month-end/quarter-end closing support.
• Partially support RPA processes and learn robotics options to enhance advanced analytics.
