About The Position

As a Data Assurance Engineer (within DLP Operations and Analysis), you will lead efforts to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of sensitive data through advanced data loss prevention and information assurance practices. This role involves guiding incident response, enhancing data protection protocols, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify and mitigate cyber risks. You will also develop and maintain operational procedures, mentor team members, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in cybersecurity principles, data mining, and automation will support Walmart’s commitment to safeguarding critical information and driving operational excellence. What you'll do... Requirements

A technologist who is informed on security industry trends, technology shifts and exploits
You have a technology degree with 3+ years’ experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or computer science
An individual who enjoys learning and building from experience to develop tools that will inhibit threat actors and their methods
You are inquisitive with a passion for learning and have an understanding of various technologies
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity or related area and 2 years’ experience in data assurance at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
4 years’ experience in data assurance at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Nice To Haves

Certification in Security+, Network+, GISF, CISSP, or CCSP
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related area

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
