About The Position

This position supports data management and analytics activities, including extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from disparate data sources and contributing to the organization and maintenance of data assets. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting data workflows, improving data quality, and assisting with data-driven initiatives across teams. This is a paid year-round internship located in Richland, WA. GENERAL SUMMARY Provide entry-level to more advanced technical support for the designated organization based on assigned projects and student skill level. This position will be directly accountable to assigned department staff and will support assigned project related activities and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Requires current part to full time enrollment status in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program in a technical field related to the assigned role at an accredited college or university.
  • Must maintain a minimum 2.8 cumulative G.P.A. unless approved by Human Resources.
  • The selected candidate will be expected to be available to work onsite in Richland, WA.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with data from multiple sources and follow data management best practices

Nice To Haves

  • PREFERRED MAJORS Computer Science, Software Development, Data Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with or coursework in Python programming
