About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team in Tallahassee, FL. The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our organization's data architecture. This includes creating data models, databases, and data integration solutions to ensure that our data is accurate, accessible, and secure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data integration
• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), especially within public sector environments.
• Skilled in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell for automation and data processing tasks.
• A strong understanding of data modeling concepts and experience with SQL.
• Experience with data management tools and technologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Amazon Quick Sight).
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React) and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
