Responsibilities
Millennium Corporation is hiring a Data Architect to work 100% REMOTE. The candidate must have an active secret clearance.
As a Data Architect on the Data Ingestion Team with LDS, you will be expected to:
-provide modeling, developing, and implementing relational databases and data warehouses in support of mission-focused analysis, audit, and evaluation efforts.
-provide administrative support of actively life cycle development includes credentialed role access for hosted dashboards, as well as back-end source automation as part of Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 storage, third-party application programming interfaces (APIs) , and Redshift/Postgres SQL automated data updates.
-Technical responsibilities for supported activities included enterprise systems administration, automation development, and database delivery of production data hosted on a hybrid infrastructure of Windows Servers and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7.0) through AWS gov cloud hosted enviroenment.
-Provide architecture analysis and design implementation of the Regional Cyber Operations Centers (RCCs) with detailed technology roadmaps and transition planning and master plans as required.
-Responsible for meeting Program Increment (~12week) deadlines to create and enhance Data Ingestion Team capabilities.
-Attend and Participate in Periodic Large Scale Agile Planning events.
-Support standard Agile ritual meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives) as necessary and assist Scrum teams in execution of Sprints.
Qualifications
Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Computer Science, Information Systems preferred
6-8 years IT experience and 2 to 5 years of direct Data Architecture
DoD 8570 IAT Level II equivalent
Experience with DataBricks, Advana, Redshift, RHEL, Structured Query Language (PL/SQL & T-SQL), Experience with a range of AWS products
Business Development
Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.
Physical Requirements
Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.

• 6-8 years IT experience and 2 to 5 years of direct Data Architecture
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II equivalent
