About The Position

The Data Architect at ChemTreat is responsible for leading the development of a comprehensive and scalable enterprise data architecture. This role focuses on enabling efficient data management, integration, and business intelligence while ensuring robust data governance, security, and compliance. The position offers the flexibility of a fully remote role and involves collaboration with a diverse global team to solve technical problems and make a meaningful impact on water resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related fields.
• 3-5 years in IT, with a focus on Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database).
• Strong expertise in data warehousing, data lakes, and BI development.
• Knowledge of SQL and programming languages like Python, Java, or PHP.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Dynamics 365.
• Background in application development or systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead data consolidation and integration efforts across platforms (e.g., OTM, EDI, BankFabric).
• Create high-level design documents and evaluate new data solutions for integration.
• Define and execute data migration strategies with robust quality assurance.
• Support application development and upgrades while managing risk effectively.
• Establish data governance policies and maintain data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and privacy laws globally.
• Troubleshoot data imports and optimize system functionality.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve data challenges and streamline processes.
