As a Data Architect/Infrastructure Engineer within PNC's Data and Automation organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh-PA or Strongsville-OH. We are looking for an experienced infrastructure engineer with strong expertise in managing and scaling graph databases platforms, particularly Neo4j. Design, deploy, and maintain Neo4j infrastructure in an on-prem environment. Ensuring availability, security and performance for production workloads.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
  • University / college degree or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service)
  • Strong expertise in managing and scaling graph databases platforms, particularly Neo4j

Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage highly available and scalable Neo4j clusters (Enterprise Edition)
  • Automate deployment and management of cluster
  • Configure and monitor backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes for Neo4j
  • Work closely with developers and platform resources to optimize Neo4j performance
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance using logging tools
  • Implement role-based access control, experience with LDAP authentication
  • Designs, develops and optimizes data warehouses, with flexible and scalable data and ETL architecture, to support business users and Business Intelligence (BI) applications.
  • Analyzes business intelligence data and makes recommendations for data warehouse growth and integration an application/business function.
  • Works with IT and business customers to capture requirements for designing the data warehouse architecture.
  • Provides support and technical guidance to ensure the solutions are aligned with the architecture and framework.
  • Leads and consults on the implementation and integration of data warehouses; ensures the solution meets organizational quality and integrity standards.
