The purpose of this position is to support the Online Master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Northern Colorado. The role encompasses a variety of tasks related to the delivery of the online speech-language pathology master's program. Key responsibilities include managing accreditation records, overseeing clinical off-site supervisor documentation and payments, initiating affiliation agreements, and providing support for internship placements. Additionally, the position involves answering inquiries regarding application processes and managing accreditation data, outcome data, and alumni information. The specialist will also be responsible for software contract updates, training, and data management, which includes handling clinical hours, simulations, and miscellaneous data. Event planning is another critical aspect of this role, particularly the coordination of the summer conference for online SLP students, which occurs every 2-3 years. The individual in this position will play a vital role in student retention efforts through regular communication with students and clinical supervisors. This position may allow for occasional work from home, providing flexibility in the work environment.
