About The Position

NAYA Family Center is seeking a Data and Evaluation Manager to lead the organization’s data, evaluation, and program measurement efforts. This role provides strategic leadership for data systems, evaluation frameworks, and reporting, ensuring NAYA can demonstrate its impact to the community and funders. The Data & Evaluation Manager will oversee the transition to a new organization-wide database, manage evaluation staff, and support programs with high-quality data collection and analysis. Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in evaluation, data systems, or program quality improvement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • You are skilled in data management and analysis, including using systems like ETO, SPSS, Power BI, or other evaluation platforms.
  • You have experience designing evaluation frameworks and reporting on social services programs.
  • You understand and apply data justice principles, including equity and community impact.
  • You have strong project management skills, able to oversee complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
  • You have experience supervising staff, providing coaching and guidance.
  • You are confident presenting data analysis to leadership, funders, and community partners.
  • You communicate effectively, both written and verbally, and can translate complex data into concise, digestible reports.
  • You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities independently.
  • You thrive in a team-oriented workplace, are adaptable, and are willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in, even when it’s not your job.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning for data, evaluation, and reporting across NAYA programs.
  • Manage the transition and implementation of CaseWorthy as the new organization-wide database.
  • Maintain and optimize current evaluation systems (ETO) while migrating to new platforms.
  • Develop organizational and programmatic measures of success in alignment with NAYA’s Relational Worldview Model.
  • Create and refine data collection tools for staff to capture accurate, timely information.
  • Supervise and support the Data & Evaluation Team, including coaching and professional development.
  • Manage contracts related to data and evaluation in collaboration with the COO.
  • Ensure organization-wide data quality, compliance, and adherence to funder requirements.
  • Build and implement program and organization logic models and evaluation frameworks.
  • Analyze, interpret, and summarize data for strategic decision-making, internal learning, and external reporting.
  • Prepare internal and external reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual outcome reports.
  • Support grant proposal development and funder reporting.
  • Represent NAYA externally with partners, funders, and collaborators.
  • Promote a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement organization-wide.
