The Data & Analytical Lead is accountable for owning and optimising digital platforms that underpin Network Transport operations, ensuring they deliver measurable operational and customer value. This role operates in a product-style capacity, embedding digital solutions into BAU, driving continuous improvement, and partnering closely with operations, IT and customers. This role is a permanent position and can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital product ownership, digital operations or supporting large-scale change initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of transport and logistics operations and associated digital workflows
  • Experience translating operational needs into digital solutions, user stories and prioritised backlogs
  • Exposure to systems such as Blue Yonder, SAP and digital freight or routing platforms
  • Proven ability to manage digital solutions post-implementation, including performance, change control and enhancement pipelines
  • Customer-facing experience, including working with internal and external stakeholders on data, analytics and system outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage digital platforms supporting Network Transport operations to ensure stability, availability and fitness for purpose
  • Lead implementation and operational handover of digital initiatives, embedding solutions into BAU with clear ownership and governance
  • Translate business and operational requirements into a prioritised digital backlog aligned to business value
  • Drive continuous improvement through disciplined change control, optimisation and enhancement of existing systems
  • Track, measure and sustain value realisation and KPI performance from digital investments
  • Partner with operational leaders, IT teams, customers and vendors to ensure effective delivery and ongoing support
