About The Position

The Data Analytics Analyst at U.S. Bank plays a crucial role in the Business Banking Analytics team, focusing on delivering insightful analysis and supporting strategic initiatives through a blend of descriptive statistics, data visualization, and advanced analytics. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5 to 7 years of statistical and/or data analytics experience.
• Strong data querying skills using SQL and SAS.
• Proficiency in descriptive and advanced statistical analysis.
• Expertise in dashboard and report development using Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong data engineering skills, including experience with ETL processes.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or a related field.
• Business banking or financial services experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize descriptive statistics to summarize and interpret business banking data, providing insights into trends and opportunities.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Identify, source, and manipulate new data sources and metrics for analysis, building and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Conduct strategic analyses to evaluate business performance and identify growth opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
• Address complex business problems with innovative analytical approaches and solutions, working cross-functionally to define requirements and implement strategies.
