The Data Analytics Intern will report to the Vice President of Data Management and Analytics Operations, supporting data practices for both company-owned retail locations and independent grocers. This role will focus on projects such as mapping data flows, improving report structures, and analyzing performance metrics.

Interview technical owners to document and map data flows between systems, including sources, transformations, and destinations.
Evaluate report structures and calculations to further optimize and enhance analytical measures in cooperation with the data analytics team.
Review analytics repository for duplicates and rarely used reports.
Analyze datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and key insights in cooperation with business leads.
Learn and apply foundational data management principles.

Computer literacy and working-level skill with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well both individually and in a team environment.
Skill in technical writing aided by use of Microsoft AI tools.
Skill in creating technical diagrams with diagramming software.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of data privacy and business confidential principles.
Knowledge of analytics and visualization techniques.
Knowledge of analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
Knowledge on how to query SQL and no-SQL data.
