What You Will Do: The Data Analytics Specialist supports the MRO Dallas Airfoil Repair Operations (DARO) Organization with a strong focus on Risk Management, Supplier Development, and continuous improvement of functional tools and applications. This role modernizes legacy systems, enables data-driven insights, and partners with cross-functional teams to improve process performance across the Global Supply Chain.

Requirements

  • HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic business environments and communicate impacts effectively.
  • Experience supporting strategic transformation initiatives.
  • 3 years of Microsoft Access development experience
  • 3 years of advanced Microsoft Excel and VBA experience.
  • 3 years of experience with BI tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • 3 years of Visual Basic or VBA programming experience.
  • 3 years of Oracle SQL experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP or Business Warehouse systems.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles or similar environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support MRO Dallas Airfoil Repair Operations (DARO) Organization through Risk Management and Supplier Development tools and processes.
  • Develop online solutions to replace Excel-based legacy tools and automate existing workflows.
  • Support the deployment and sustainment of Risk Management solutions across stakeholder groups.
  • Participate in internal software development and the enhancement of existing applications.
  • Drive process improvement and implement automation across functional tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather requirements and modernize tools.
  • Deploy new tools to stakeholders and provide ongoing support.
  • Maintain, enhance, and develop dashboards and visualizations to enable actionable insights.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and connect findings to business needs.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams supporting Global Supply Chain initiatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical/critical thinking and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical and business requirements to all levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks independently and ensure alignment of project objectives and timelines.
  • Experience with process creation, execution, and continuous improvement.
