About The Position
The Data Analytics Manager will assist in the analysis and maintenance of plans, policies, and processes for data management, data governance, security, quality, accessibility, use, and disposal. This role will drive initiatives related to Army Digital Transformation, Data Modernization, and Analytics, including the use of AI and ML, and Program Oversight. Responsibilities include capturing client requirements, designing and implementing robust solutions, and crafting strategies, white papers, and proposals to help clients enhance their Army Data Management and Analytics efforts. The manager will capture and document business requirements, formulate data collection plans, implement normalization processes, identify key performance metrics, develop queries to extract accurate and timely business information from existing data environments, and generate data visualizations to highlight patterns or trends in complex datasets. Strategic support will be provided to ensure that solutions adhere to best practices and effectively address client needs related to data, analytics, and oversight for program success. A solid understanding of data platforms and enterprise analytics is essential to spearhead comprehensive data integration and optimization, transforming the Army into a data-centric organization. The manager will apply strategic understanding and experience of Army domains, including business, warfighting, and enterprise, Army stakeholders, and the HDQA initiatives to spearhead new and modernized Army data solutions.
