About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Allstate Personal Lines Data Calls team. This role is critical to maintaining positive regulatory relationships and supporting data-driven decision making throughout the organization. The successful candidate will manage complicated regulatory data collection processes, oversee data quality standards, and lead a team of data professionals to deliver accurate, timely responses to regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in insurance industry, preferably Property & Casualty
  • 3+ years of management or team leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of insurance regulatory reporting requirements and data calls
  • Experience with NAIC reporting standards and state regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency in SQL, data analysis tools, and database management systems
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Python and R
  • Knowledge of actuarial concepts and insurance data standards
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of data analysts responsible for regulatory data call responses
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management for team members
  • Foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and professional growth
  • Manage workload distribution and prioritization across multiple concurrent projects
  • Oversee end-to-end management of Allstate Personal Lines regulatory data calls, including National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) submissions
  • Ensure timely, accurate responses to state regulatory agencies and federal requirements
  • Maintain positive regulatory relationships critical to operational continuity
  • Develop and implement data quality standards and control processes
  • Coordinate with Legal, Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, and other business units for comprehensive data collection
  • Drive data optimization and analytics projects to enhance strategic decision-making capabilities
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
  • Partner with technology teams to ensure data solutions comply with enterprise architecture
  • Serve as primary liaison with internal and external partners for critical data initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and external data consumers
  • Communicate complex project updates to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business intelligence and reporting needs

Benefits

  • Compensation offered for this role is $112,000.00 - 196,750.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
