About The Position

The Data Analytics Intern will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role involves working closely with various departments to understand their data needs and delivering solutions that enhance operational efficiency and strategic planning. Activities will include data collection, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and reporting. Other responsibilities will include maintaining data integrity, developing data models, and supporting the implementation of data-driven strategies.

Requirements

• Pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experienced in six sigma/operational excellence methodologies.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Familiarity with QuickBase.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
