About The Position

GoFundMe is looking for a dedicated Data & Analytics Intern to join our Data and Decision Science team to help elevate our analytics at GoFundMe. This role will support the Decision Science roadmap through the cultivation, curation, and visualization of timely and relevant data for our team and other stakeholders at GoFundMe. This is a 10 week internship program that runs from May 26th, 2026 to August 7th, 2026. The program will be based in San Francisco, CA and interns will be expected onsite three days per week.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree related to Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or Operations Research
• Have an understanding of data visualization and BI tools (i.e. Looker or Tableau)
• Familiarity with SQL and cleaning/processing data
• Passion for organization and documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build strong relationships and trust with all partners at GoFundMe both technical and non-technical

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated experience with data science using Python

Responsibilities

• Provide data-driven analyses using SQL and/or Looker to inform our roadmap and deliver insights to our stakeholders
• Inventory BI environment and work with stakeholders to gather usage requirements and develop documentation
• Clean and organize data from various sources into our Snowflake Warehouse
• Develop high-level dashboards in Looker to support data-driven strategy and insights
• Collaborate with the Decision Science team to drive ad hoc requests and define metrics for dashboard development
• Identify hypotheses, participate in experiment design; make clear, coherent and holistic recommendations based on test results
