About The Position

Our data is spread across platforms, exports, and manual workflows — and our backend systems don’t fully connect. Orders, customers, inventory, CRM, and reporting live in different places. That won’t scale as we grow. This role is responsible for connecting those systems. You’ll integrate marketplace data, internal tools, and CRM into one clean architecture — reducing manual work, improving accuracy, and giving the company a reliable source of truth. You’ll build the pipes and logic that power everything downstream: dashboards, segmentation, VIP tracking, churn signals, and operational reporting. If it touches revenue or customer data, your work makes it smarter and more dependable.

Requirements

  • 5+ years building data infrastructure and analytics systems in ecommerce, marketplace, SaaS, or consumer platforms ideally in a multi-platform environment where customer identity was fragmented across marketplaces, apps, or owned channels
  • Experience building unified customer data models across fragmented systems and resolving messy, real-world data inconsistencies.
  • Deep SQL expertise and hands-on experience with modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.)
  • Experience connecting a data warehouse to marketing execution tools (Klaviyo, Braze, Hubspot, or Iterable) — you've built the pipeline that makes behavioral triggers possible, not just the warehouse itself
  • A track record of delivering dashboards and analytical models used by executive teams to drive real decisions
  • Strong commercial fluency — you understand retention, LTV, margin contribution, cohort behavior, and how data ties directly to revenue outcomes
  • Fluency in AI tools and automation workflows — you actively use LLMs, copilots, and scripting to accelerate development, automate repetitive tasks, improve data quality, and increase analytical leverage

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement Swish’s unified customer data warehouse across all marketplace and owned channels.
  • Build and maintain reliable data pipelines that ingest, clean, and normalize transactional, engagement, and CRM data
  • Build and maintain the unified customer identity layer — resolve the same buyer appearing across multiple platforms into a single profile
  • Automate recurring reporting and eliminate manual spreadsheet workflows across the organization
  • Design data models (customers, orders, events) that create a single source of truth the entire organization operates from
  • Develop executive and operator dashboards covering GMV, margin, retention, LTV, channel profitability, and inventory velocity
  • Build customer scoring frameworks to power CRM and lifecycle automation
