About The Position

This role focuses on the development and maintenance of comprehensive Verification & Validation (V&V) Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards. These dashboards are designed to be intuitive, providing critical insights into V&V readiness and quality trends for both the internal V&V team and CVS executive management. The position involves close collaboration with the CVS data management team to establish and maintain robust data connections, ensuring seamless integration with other relevant organizational dashboards. All dashboard creation and deployment must adhere to Ford's compliant toolchain. Tailored to V&V Goals Dashboards are customized to align with the specific strategic objectives and informational needs of executive management. This ensures that the data presented is directly relevant to their decision-making processes. Simplicity and High-Level Overview Recognizing that executives have limited time, the dashboards prioritize simplicity by presenting only essential information and avoiding an overcrowded display. They provide a quick 'temperature check' of V&V performance rather than overwhelming detail. Organized for Insight Information is structured to naturally draw the executive's attention to the most important and actionable insights. This often means placing the most critical metrics and KPIs at the top, following natural reading patterns. Clear Visual Design Intuitive dashboards utilize clear and easy-to-understand charts, graphs, and other visualizations. Consistent color schemes enhance readability and highlight critical insights without distraction. Accessibility is also considered in color choices. Focus on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) The dashboards center around V&V readiness and quality trends, which serve as crucial KPIs. These indicators are presented in a simplified, easily digestible format, allowing executives to quickly grasp the health and performance of V&V activities. Actionable Insights and Storytelling Beyond just presenting data, the dashboards are designed to provide actionable insights. They aim to tell a compelling story, guiding decision-making by highlighting opportunities, identifying risks, and indicating areas that require immediate attention or adjustment. Real-time Data and Interactivity Dashboards are powered by real-time data to ensure executives have access to the most current information, enabling timely and informed decisions. Interactive elements, such as drill-down capabilities, allow executives to explore specific details if needed, transforming static data into a dynamic tool. Proactive Information The dashboards are designed to be proactive, helping executives understand not just past performance but also current trajectory, allowing them to anticipate future needs and make timely adjustments or pivots to their strategies.
