Copart is looking for a Data Analytics Intern for our Copart offices located in Dallas, TX. The Reporting Services team works very closely with all aspects of data and reports, both internal and external. In this role, your work will broadly influence the company's data consumers, executives and analysts. This position will assist in duties including, but not limited to, the following: Design, develop, test and implement data warehouse and BI & AI solutions and platforms including but not limited to real-time data pipeline, data visualizations, interactive reports, conversational analytics AI and ad-hoc reporting. Continuously develops and maintains an understanding of Business Intelligence & Analytics technology, including data pipelines reporting and analytics tools, and other methods of information delivery. Develops batch, real-time and streaming analytics pipelines with data from event data streams, NoSQL and APIs and integrate report(s)/dashboard(s) into external applications. Continuously develops an understanding of supported business domains. Analyze, understand, and document user needs to ensure accurate fulfillment of user story requests. Conducts and may facilitate internal testing and user acceptance testing. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have completed Bachelor's or pursuing Master's degree in computer science / Statistics / Math's or similar fields.
• One or two years of experience in any BI Tool preferred.
• Proficient with at least one scripting language (e.g., Java, Python).
• Proficient with advanced SQL and cloud databases (e.g., Snowflake, GCP/BQ, AWS/Redshift).
• Hands-on experience with BI/Analytical tools like Looker, Tableau, OBIEE, Power BI etc.
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple conflicting requirements with high attention to detail.
• Proven problem-solving ability and a willingness to think outside-the-box.

Responsibilities
