Data Analytics/CMMS Intern
About The Position
Position Purpose: Internships at Veolia: Gain hands-on experience in at least one career function from Corporate, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain or Technology. Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Collect and compile Asset Data from various stations (HIllsdale, Westwood, Haworth) and the plant for upload into the HxGN system, ensuring adherence to hierarchy and naming structures. Collaborate with the local DBA on the implementation of QR codes and checklists for fire extinguisher routes at Hackensack and Haworth. Document the current and ideal status of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Executes tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements. Communicates issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility. May assist in research or special projects in a variety of areas in order to fulfill business initiatives and meet business objectives. May be asked to prepare and deliver insights and recommendations based on analyses. Produces findings and draws conclusions from analyses. Makes oral and written recommendations to management. Work Environment: Environments vary by internship function from office to field to plant. Our aim is to provide tangible industry job experience to each intern.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Working towards a four year degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Math or a related major.
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships.
