  • Gather customer requirements to design, implement, and provide support for reports and dashboards within the Claims Department.
  • Support Data Transformation initiative by recreating legacy dashboards and reports in the new modern Azure environment.
  • Participate in agent and policyholder research, voice-of-customer data collection and analytics, and agile user testing.
  • Perform all software development activities including development and testing in Agile/Sprint methodology.
  • Focus on API development and testing and various Innovation projects.
  • Participate in peril based research, documentation, and creation of SOPs.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics, Information Systems, Business Management, Project Management, or Risk Management.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.
  • Confidence in use of MS Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Notes, Teams).
  • Candidates must be local (Amelia, OH) and have reliable transportation due to the hybrid work schedule.
  • Interns will work in the office at least 2 days a week.
  • Applicants requiring employer sponsorship of a visa will not be considered for this position.
  • Familiarity and ability to develop in Power BI and Data Bricks.
  • Familiarity with research techniques.
  • Some familiarity with API development and testing skills with any platform - Microsoft APIM and Azure are preferred.
  • Overall software development experience.
  • Familiarity with coding (SQL/Python), Data wrangling, and Data Visualization tools (PowerBI).
