Do you have experience overseeing and applying data methodologies to aid in the development of analytic and operational vignettes? Parsons is now hiring a Data Analyst with a passion for innovation and solving novel challenges to support our US INDOPACOM customer.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and meet objectives; perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze structured and unstructured data, assess value, and provide expertise in the production of use cases for consumption by command staff.
  • Explain complex, technically difficult information in an easily understood manner to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Educate and mentor on how to effectively use and interpret data, ensuring customers can independently derive insights and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrate foundational proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Utilize familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch).
  • Employ data visualization tools (e.g., matplotlib) and big data technologies (e.g., Pandas, Spark).
  • Solve complex problems intuitively, working independently with minimal guidance.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • 2+ years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree.
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data automation.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data with the ability to automate data processing and analysis tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to convey complex, technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills for tracking requests and project fulfillment.
  • Active DoD Secret-level security clearance.
  • Prior military experience supporting US INDOPACOM activities.
  • Experience utilizing and applying data visualization tools and techniques.
