CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities. The Data Analyst collects, cleans, analyzes, and interprets data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that guide business decisions and improve operations. Key responsibilities include gathering data from various sources, performing statistical analysis, creating visualizations and reports using tools like SQL, Excel, and Tableau, and communicating findings to stakeholders to support strategic goals. The role requires a blend of technical skills, strong analytical thinking, and effective communication to translate complex data into actionable business solutions. This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

  • Identify, gather, and manage data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring its accuracy and integrity.
  • Clean raw data by identifying and addressing inconsistencies, missing values, and errors to prepare it for analysis.
  • Apply statistical techniques and analytical methods to explore datasets, discover trends, find patterns, and derive insights.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present complex findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, understand business requirements, and effectively communicate insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Address specific business challenges by using data to identify underperforming processes, pinpoint areas for growth, and determine optimal strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 2 to 5 years of experience for Journeyman level.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5 to 10 years of experience for Senior level.
  • TS/SCI security clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly highly desired.
  • Skilled in database querying languages (e.g., SQL), spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and draw valid inferences to solve problems and answer business questions.
  • Excellent skills in presenting technical information to non-technical audiences through clear reports and presentations.
  • Understanding of the specific industry or business area to interpret data effectively in context.
