The Division of Enrollment Management (EM) comprises the Office of Admission, the HUB, University Registrar’s Office, Student Accounts, Student Financial Aid, Enrollment Systems, Marketing & Communication, Office of International Education, and EM Research & Analytics. All of these areas work together to provide students, families and the campus community with student support and administrative services from the time of recruitment, to enrollment and all the way through graduation. We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of EM Research & Analytics, the Data Analyst will be responsible for defining and managing the implementation of various data, reporting and analytical products and efforts. The Data Analyst ensures the successful completion of reporting and analytical projects and provides status updates to relevant stakeholders along the way. The successful candidate should have experience with: Data modeling Structured Query Language (SQL) Testing & validation Report writing Coordinating user acceptance testing Data analytics Technical writing & documentation Functional specifications Data visualization Primary responsibilities for this role include advanced query writing, data model design, maintaining documentation, producing intuitive self-service reports and/or data visualizations, and coaching associate data analysts. The successful candidate must understand and evaluate compliance with internal data governance as well as relevant regulations including but not limited to Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). This role will also develop and implement technical documentation that will enhance the data maturity of the division and the university.
