The Data Analyst role involves gathering requirements to build and maintain data analyses, risk triggers/rules, visualizations, and interactive dashboards that drive business decisions and risk monitoring, utilizing BI tools, web analytics platforms, and Excel. This position facilitates the analytical needs of the business, collaborates in the design of diagnostic solutions, and delivers data products and insights. The analyst will use internal and external analytics tools, SQL, and scripting languages to access and analyze multivariate data, performing deep analyses to understand data better and build robust risk management and monitoring tools and reports. The role also requires using emerging technologies to evaluate trends, developing actionable insights, and independently uncovering problems and business opportunities. Key responsibilities include supporting data migrations to automate repeatable tasks and KPI tracking, tracking and analyzing the performance of various business and risk segments, and building analysis, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting. The Data Analyst will help translate business functional requirements into technical specifications and provide analytics expertise to key business partners. Additionally, the role supports Commercial, Marketing & Risk teams with process improvements, assists business partners in adopting reporting solutions and business intelligence tools for self-service, writes LookML and SQL queries, builds dashboards in Looker, systematically identifies data quality issues, and assists with ad-hoc projects.
