About The Position

Data Analyst supports our Manufacturing Delivery Services team with a focus on new vehicle launch programs; supporting indirect MRO inventory, critical spare parts and various indirect materials projects. This role will focus on Data Extraction and Analysis; Pulling data from the Databricks data warehouse using complex SQL queries and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of MRO materials, maintenance operations, and/or BOM structures.
  • Proficient in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, lookups) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience working with ERP/CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Oracle, Infor).
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
  • Attention to detail with strong problem-solving and data validation skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or associate’s degree in data Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within manufacturing, maintenance, or supply chain environments.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, oral or written.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with meeting deadlines.
  • Previous work with SAP

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with the Data Lead and customer leadership to design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Databricks' native visualization tools, Power BI, or other business intelligence (BI) platforms.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as inventory turns, lead times, part usage rates, and critical spares availability.
  • Partner with maintenance, engineering, and procurement teams to align BOMs with actual asset structures and maintenance strategies.
  • Analyze and manage Indirect MRO inventory data to identify usage trends, optimize stock levels, and reduce obsolescence or overstock.
  • Support digital transformation or system upgrades (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Infor) by preparing and validating MRO and BOM data.
  • Assist with master data governance by ensuring part numbers, descriptions, units of measure, and classifications are consistent and accurate.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between OEM documentation and actual plant usage or installed equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for standardization and rationalization of parts across multiple sites or equipment platforms.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on stockouts, equipment downtime related to part availability, or BOM inaccuracies.
  • Provide insights to support sourcing strategies, vendor consolidation, and cost-reduction projects.
  • Comfortable presenting data projects to our customers and internal leadership.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to continuous learning and adaptability, essential in the ever-evolving field of data analytics.
