The Data Analyst is an entry level position responsible for supporting the organization’s data environment through ongoing monitoring, analysis, and operational support across production and non production systems. Core responsibilities include maintain quarterly audits, supporting day to day data workflows, assisting with software updates, resolving technical incidents, and responding to user data requests. The Data Analyst contributes to evaluating existing systems, documenting integration needs, and supporting automated solutions used across the company. This role also assists with initiatives involving internal and external application integrations, application development, robotic process automation (RPA), and foundational AI and large language model (LLM) solutions. The Data Analyst helps ensure that data standards, governance guidelines, and organizational policies are consistently applied.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Familiarity with Unix & Linux operating systems; Windows server operating systems; basic TCP/IP network design, administration, and maintenance; management and administration of large databases; data warehousing; database maintenance and common procedures; relational database design and architecture; performance management and tuning; standard support procedures and techniques; and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance HIPAA, Medicare, CMS, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Privacy and Security

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Informational Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent preferred
  • Technical certifications, such as Oracle or Microsoft DBA Certification, are preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Begin learning new and emerging languages/technologies, ad hoc, to facilitate automation, development and integration.
  • Assist with current and future AI/LLM technologies to support various business projects
  • Maintain Quarterly Audits
  • Gain understanding of cloud-based systems
  • Assist with application development in Oracle systems.
  • Maintenance of proprietary software systems. Support multiple types of automation and integration software
  • Supports technical incidents, problems, changes and data needs of users.
  • Operational knowledge and understanding of how to warehouse, back up, and recover data.
  • Configures databases and defines data requirements.
  • Designs prototypes.
  • Performs ad hoc troubleshooting.
  • Conducts one or more additional, specific duties or projects as assigned
  • Supports design and development team with the design and development of PL/SQL scripts.
  • Creates Oracle/MS SQL Server database instances and objects in production, test, and development environments on new and existing databases.
  • Refreshes development/test databases from copies of production.
  • Develops and maintains integrations between Oracle and SQL Server databases and integrations between databases and unstructured data.
