INTECON, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to support the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ). This role is responsible for improving procurement operations, data accuracy, reporting workflows, and mission driven acquisition processes across ICE. The Data Analyst will help ICE manage, analyze, and validate acquisition-related datasets, create automated tracking tools, and support critical reporting functions that enable government decision making.

  • Using Microsoft Suite tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) to create, manage, and maintain data, documents, and communications.
  • Practicing proper operational security (OPSEC) and reporting any concerns or anomalies.
  • Creating and running Microsoft Excel scripts, formulas, and automated checks to verify data accuracy and ensure high-quality work products.
  • Managing multiple data formats and files, including acquisition, contract, and administrative datasets.
  • Applying analytical strategies to gather data, interpret information, and draw clear, well-supported conclusions.
  • Using available tools and techniques to creatively solve problems and manage large or complex datasets.
  • Demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail when performing data-related tasks.
  • Developing and managing tracking mechanisms, user tools, spreadsheets, and worksheets to monitor productivity, support deadlines, meet mandated reporting requirements, and respond to data calls.
  • Managing multiple priorities and providing timely updates to leadership.
  • Communicating clearly in writing and verbally and demonstrating strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Handling procurement-sensitive, law-enforcement-sensitive, or other protected information in accordance with federal requirements.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in a Data Analyst or Data Management role.
  • Experience supporting a Federal Government agency in a data-focused capacity (e.g., procurement, program management, administrative operations, or acquisition environments).
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel (scripts, formulas, validation checks).
  • Experience maintaining OPSEC practices and working with sensitive or protected data.
  • Ability to manage, analyze, and interpret multiple data formats and sources.
  • Experience developing tracking tools, worksheets, dashboards, and productivity mechanisms to support reporting and data calls.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking with the ability to draw clear, well-supported conclusions from complex data.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and manage large datasets.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, which includes successfully completing a 4-year course of study. Examples of acceptable degree types include (but are not limited to): Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Candidates without a bachelor's degree may qualify with six (6) years of data management experience.
  • Experience handling procurement-sensitive, law-enforcement-sensitive, or other secure information (preferred).
