About The Position

We are seeking a Data Analytics Consultant passionate about delivering Data Analytics as a Service (DAaaS). In this role, you will bridge the gap between raw data and business strategy by working within Databricks to ingest data, perform deep data exploration, prepare data for analytics and deliver Tableau visualizations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end flow of data ensuring that stakeholders have access to clean, reliable, and actionable insights. Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or Data Consultant
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field. Must have or be willing to obtain a Secret Clearance (requires US Citizenship)
Hands-on experience building and managing automated data pipelines and performing analysis within the Databricks ecosystem
Hands-on experience with data marts, data warehouses and medallion architecture
Expertise in Tableau: Advanced proficiency in designing complex, high-performance dashboards and connecting them to cloud data sources
Strong SQL & Python: Expert SQL skills for data transformation and Python for automating workflows and exploring large datasets
Modern Data Stack: Deep understanding of Delta Lake and cloud-based data warehousing concepts
Consultative Mindset: Ability to work cross-functionally to solve complex business challenges and present findings to diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

Databricks Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines within the Databricks environment (using Notebooks, Delta Lake, and Workflows) to automate the ingestion of diverse datasets
Data Exploration & EDA: Perform deep-dive exploratory data analysis using SQL and Python to identify trends and anomalies, ensuring data is fit for purpose before modeling
Visual Storytelling: Architect and maintain sophisticated Tableau dashboards and self-service reporting tools that connect directly to Databricks for real-time and batch insights
Collaborative Analytics: Partner with data scientists, engineers,and business leaders to define data requirements and deliver high-quality, production-ready datasets for advanced modeling
Analytical Modeling: Structure and optimize performant data models (Star/Snowflake schemas) within Delta Lake tailored for dashboard speed and ease of use in self-service tools
Workflow Automation: Operationalize data products by building automated feedback loops, tracking model outputs, and ensuring consistent data delivery schedules
Governance & Quality: Maintain rigorous data quality standards and technical documentation to ensure transparency and trust across all analytical products
