Job Summary The Data Analyst oversees projects and provides data-driven guidance including compliance, oversight and trends. They will Provide high level expertise in applicable personnel vetting and security disciplines to collect, analyze, or interpret data contained within information systems and databases related to personnel vetting. Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Salesforce, R) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience with platforms including Salesforce (VA-CABS), Oracle, PeopleSoft (HR Smart), USAStaffing, USAccess, and systems processing IT Account Provisioning and Deprovisioning.
  • Travel to client locations is required for this position and may vary based on project needs.
  • Due to federal contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this position.
  • This position supports a federal government contract and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination, depending on the agency’s background investigation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform highly complex data analysis and data research work that includes merging data sets from multiple databases.
  • Conduct data quality assessments, linkage, analysis, and interpretation of data.
  • Develop programs for managing and validating data and generating reports, dashboards, analytical charts and presentations.
  • Perform statistical analysis (i.e., descriptive, predictive, regression modeling).
  • Assist in the presentation of data findings to stakeholders, highlighting trends, insights, and recommendations.
  • Uses a variety of analytic methods, including literature reviews, data cleaning, and secondary data analysis.
