The Girl Scout mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Behind every Girl Scout and volunteer is a team of local staff ready to help them earn that next badge, embark on a camping adventure, or organize an impactful service project. We are Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey (GSNNJ) serving girls in grades K-12 in Bergen, Morris, Passaic, Sussex and Northern Warren counties. We bring the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to 19,000 girls and 10,200 adult members. At GSNNJ, data helps tell the story of our impact—and shapes how we serve girls, volunteers, and communities every day. We’re looking for a curious, analytical, and mission-driven Data Analyst to turn information into insights that strengthen our programs and guide smarter decisions across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and using insights to advance a mission that truly matters. Position Summary: The Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting the mission of the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey by transforming data into actionable insights that drive membership growth, program engagement, and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Director of Business Integration, this position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources and for all departments and various locations at the council to inform strategic decisions and improve council performance. This includes the data and reporting needs of the new GSNNJ DreamLab. The Data Analyst is responsible for data quality to ensure the integrity of information needed for decision making at all levels of the organization. This role is responsible for system set-up of program products, summer camp and other offerings.
