Data Analyst
About The Position
We’re looking for a strong Data Analyst with experience working with relational databases, writing scripts, and working with QGIS or Arc GIS, Salesforce and SiteTracker with a keen business acumen. The successful candidate will provide a variety of complex data analysis, reporting and automation. This role will work to validate, organize, and analyze data to generate meaningful insights. Our Data Analyst role will possess strong communication, an ability to be proactive and responsive, as well as collaborate well with others on the team as well as in leadership roles. This is a long term consulting project and is a remote role requiring MST hours. Candidates must be fully authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. We do not offer C2C.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years experience in data analysis, data modeling, data visualization and reporting
- Proficient in using Advanced Excel (including Power Pivot and VBA)
- Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with SQL database structures, access, and modification
- Must have experience with Salesforce or SiteTracker
- Familiarity working with multiple data sources including financial and operational data
- Ability to work with data tools and techniques and to translate information into compelling data views is required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related degree is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with QGIS or Arc GIS is highly preferrred
Responsibilities
- Familiarity with relational data bases including writing custom SQL scripts
- Familiarity/experience with GIS related systems such as QGIS or Arc GIS (we worked with these on the CA Broadband project)
- Familiarity/experience with Salesforce and Sitetracker from a front end and backend reporting and analysis standpoint
- Template and automation creation, status reporting, configuration
- Building of scalable, flexible data models
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses and presenting results in a clear manner
- Creating insightful data visualizations and compelling data views
- Familiarity working in large, enterprise environment with many cross functional teams
- Communicating with stakeholders in a professional, succinct manner
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and an ability to work independently
