About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PowerBI, be proficient in writing and maintaining SQL queries, and possess a strong ability to design and implement visualizations that make complex data understandable and actionable. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for working closely with business stakeholders to identify their data needs and offer innovative solutions to present data in a meaningful way. You will leverage your technical expertise and communication skills to translate business requirements into effective and engaging data visualizations.

Requirements

• Proficient in creating, managing, and optimizing reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
• Strong experience with writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data.
• Excellent ability to create insightful, clear, and effective visualizations to represent complex datasets, including knowledge of best practices in data visualization.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on improving data quality, accuracy, and usability.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and end-users to understand their needs and translate them into actionable insights.
• High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reports and dashboards.
• Strong understanding of business processes and objectives to design data solutions that align with organizational goals.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft PowerBI strongly encouraged.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards that present data in a user-friendly and actionable format.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases for use in reports.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and understand their data needs.
• Provide recommendations on how to effectively visualize and present complex datasets to meet business goals.
• Perform data analysis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of reports and dashboards.
• Create automated solutions to refresh data and streamline reporting processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies, report performance issues, and ensure the data is up-to-date.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users, helping them understand how to use reporting tools effectively and make the most of the reports and dashboards.
• Assist in the maintenance of the PowerBI environment and ensure proper security and access controls are in place.
