About the position

The Data Analyst at FDH Aero is responsible for developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI to provide insights into business operations and performance. This role requires a strong understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization, along with collaboration with various departments to gather requirements and create effective reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide insight into business operations and performance.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into data visualizations and reports.
• Design and implement data models to support reporting and analysis.
• Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for end-users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with reports and data sources.
• Collaborate with other data analysts and business stakeholders to improve data quality and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization best practices.
• Experience in data preparation, transformation, and modeling.
• Understanding of database design and SQL.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced degree or relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools such as R, Python, or SAS is a plus.
