As a Data Analyst at Supermicro, you will play a vital role in safeguarding critical data assets and supporting our enterprise risk team. This is an ideal position for a recent graduate or career-switcher with a solid foundation in data analytics and a keen interest in cybersecurity and threat analysis. This is a fulltime, onsite job.

  • Monitor Supermicro's data infrastructure for anomalies and vulnerabilities using Vulnerability Management, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Asset Inventory modules and Microsoft Excel
  • Use PowerShell, Bash, and Python for automation as necessary
  • Develop actionable dashboards and reports using Tableau to visualize trends in data security and system performance
  • Assist in investigating internal incidents and external risks tied to product and operational data
  • Analyze customer behavior, supply chain risk, churn trends, and inventory patterns to identify potential exposure points in enterprise systems
  • Support risk mitigation efforts through documentation, reporting, and collaboration with IT and Security teams
  • Apply cybersecurity principles to data handling, including privacy protection and secure query practices
  • Working under the guidance of a senior person, automate monthly reporting process
  • Completion of a Business Intelligence Analytics program
  • Bachelor's degree in a data, or technology-related field preferred
  • Internship, freelance, or project work involving data integrity or system analytics encouraged
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL, Python, and Tableau or other BI tools
  • Demonstrated experience with data trend analysis through academic projects or portfolio work
  • Strong attention to detail, a methodical approach to problem solving, and willingness to grow within the cybersecurity landscape
  • Ability to communicate clearly across cross-functional teams and document findings effectively
  • Familiarity with or interest in enterprise computing environments, Microsoft Windows and Linux
  • Prior customer service or retail experience is a plus, showcasing stakeholder engagement skills
