About The Position

The Data Analyst at 9amHealth plays a central role in transforming data into actionable insights that inform care delivery, clinical quality, and business performance. You’ll design, manage, and optimize reporting for three key analytics domains: Customer Reporting Dashboards, Internal Operations Analytics, and Clinical Performance Analytics. You’ll work closely with our Data & Backend Engineer to strengthen our analytics foundation and introduce modern, AI informed data practices that improve speed, accuracy, and decision quality across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years in data analytics, ideally in health tech, telehealth, or digital product environments.
• Proven success delivering dashboards and reports that inform strategic and operational decisions.
• Exposure to AI or machine learning assisted analytics workflows.
• Advanced SQL skills and fluency in data wrangling, joining, and optimizing queries.
• Expertise in Tableau and/or Looker, including automation and advanced visualization design.
• Experience with AWS data infrastructure (Glue, S3, Athena, Redshift).
• Familiarity with event based analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Amplitude).
• Working knowledge of Python, dbt, or equivalent tools for transformation and modeling.
• Understanding of modern AI/analytics infrastructure.

• Comfort exploring how AI can streamline reporting, exploration, or anomaly detection.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dynamic, interactive dashboards in Tableau or Looker, delivering consistent, high quality reporting for customers, clinical operations, and leadership.
• Own the production of monthly and quarterly client reports, combining health outcome data, engagement metrics, and trend analysis into compelling narratives.
• Provide analytical insights into workflows, utilization, and performance across clinical and customer success teams.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to analyze health outcomes and treatment adherence, identifying opportunities for improvement in care delivery.
• Partner with Engineering to evolve data models, schemas, and pipelines that support automation, scalability, and data quality.
• Leverage and evaluate emerging AI driven tools to enhance reporting efficiency and exploration.
• Present insights clearly and persuasively to both technical and non technical stakeholders, driving understanding and alignment.
