About The Position

We are seeking a Data Analyst V as part of a bid process associated with a Statement of Work. Candidates are encouraged to submit their information and resumes highlighting their relevant experience. Position Responsibilities: Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the area of database administration Performs the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large relational and/or distributed databases Develops database requirements from operational documentation and user inputs Provides technical guidance in the selection, implementation, and deployment of databases and their architecture Manages the development of database projects. Provides highly technical expertise in the use of relational databases Evaluates and recommends available database technologies and products to support validated user requirements Defines file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications Designs, implements, and maintains complex databases with respect to access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation and statistical methods. Maintains database dictionaries, monitors standards and procedures and integration of systems, through database design Participates in planning analytical programs on the basis of specialized knowledge of problems and methods and probable value of results May serve as an expert in a narrow specialty making recommendations and conclusions that serve as the basis for undertaking or rejecting important projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: MA/MS
  • Minimum Experience: 12 years or more

Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the area of database administration
  • Performs the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large relational and/or distributed databases
  • Develops database requirements from operational documentation and user inputs
