About The Position

CGI is seeking a Data Analyst/Tester to join their team, focusing on backend data validations in a fast-paced environment supporting the secondary mortgage industry. The role involves working in an Agile team to develop and enhance a complex portfolio, requiring strong SQL skills and the ability to create test plans and validate data changes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Data Analysis with a focus on backend application data validations.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience writing complex SQL statements.
• Experience with data analysis tools, preferably Micro Strategy.
• Manual testing and data validation experience.
• Business Analysis experience is a plus.
• Experience with AWS cloud environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with strong work ethics and a team player.
• Quick learner willing to learn new technologies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Micro Strategy for data analysis.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing data characteristics using SQL queries.
• Create test plans and test cases to validate data sets before and after changes.
• Collaborate with Agile team members to enhance project deliverables.
• Perform manual testing and data validation tasks.
