About The Position

The Data Analyst (Supply Chain Logistics) position is located in Tarrytown, NY, and is a full-time role with a shift from Monday to Friday (1st shift). Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Undergraduate degree in business or science related field is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Supply Chain Logistics or a related field is desirable.
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement, order management, or business operations required.
  • 3+ years of experience in purchasing, account management, or data analysis preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (expert level); experience with SAP and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data tools like SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Understanding of contracts and formal problem-solving methods is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and forward-thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from multiple sources to support business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support material planning, open orders, KPIs, and other operational metrics.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights through data analysis.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular quality checks.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable format.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with suppliers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor inventory to prevent stockouts and respond swiftly to supply chain disruptions.
  • Analyze supplier performance and inventory data to support planning and continuous improvement.
  • Support expert-level control and execution of inventory programs, including consumables, chemicals, and samples.
  • Collaborate with production and manufacturing teams to understand demand forecasts and schedule material accordingly.
  • Enter and maintain inventory, purchasing, and quality control data in both internal and customer systems.
  • Provide audit support and general customer service, including order processing, quotes, returns, and billing resolution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data and operational needs, delivering tailored solutions.
