About The Position

The Strategic Planning organization at Con Edison is seeking a Data Analyst (2H) to serve as the departments lead for planning and scenario forecasting data products. This role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of critical datasets, dashboards, reporting tools, and for partnering with ETS organization to integrate departmental data with enterprise-wide platforms. In this role, you will help manage data used to analyze electrification trends, emerging technologies, and policy impacts that shape long term investment strategies aligned with CLCPA goals and the Companys clean energy transition. You will develop and maintain datasets, dashboards, and analytical tools that provide critical insights to senior leadership and cross functional partners. The Data Analyst will operate with a high degree of autonomy, defining data requirements, establishing data quality standards, and delivering analytics products that are relied upon by senior leadership and cross functional teams. This role emphasizes data governance, integration, and scalability, ensuring that planning analytics are accurate, well documented, and aligned with enterprise architecture and reporting standards. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience working with large datasets, and proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, or Power BI. You must be able to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights. Familiarity with utility planning, energy policy, or electrification modeling is preferred but not required.
